MAD RULES 2008/9 SEASON
CLEAN SHEETS
Goalkeepers
If they play at any stage and the team keep a clean sheet you score 5 PTS
Defenders
If they play at any stage and the team keep a clean sheet they score 2pts
Scoring Goals
If your Defender scores a goal you get 7 points
If your midfielder scores a goal you get 5 points
If your striker scores a goal you get 3 points
If your player gets 2 goals in one match you get an extra 5 points
If your player gets 3 goals in one match you get an extra 10 points
Every goal after the hat trick scores 5 points per goal
As a definitive rule we use the scorers published on Sporting Life
You have 30 million pounds to spend
You must have 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 strikers. Or 4 midfielders and 2 strikers  basically 4-3-3  or 4-4-2.
You are allowed TEN transfers which you can use up till the end of February 2009 . It is very important that when you submit your team that you enter the PLAYER CODE which is to the left of the players name e.g 284 Gerrard on your teamsheets as this saves us lots of time inputting the teams.
You are only allowed to choose a maximum of TWO players from any one premiership team.

Each team should nominate a captain in case of tied scores and you can only change your captain if he is transferred out of your team.
Completed sheets must returned by 15th AUGUST 2008 with the £20 entrance fee

You can change your team without using a transfer any time up to
15th AUGUST without using a transfer.
This enables us to input all the player codes etc into the system.
